You really need to step out of your fanboi bubble, it seems a little silly to be honest.
The entire industry is one big Apple "fanboi", bud. What Apple does, everyone else moves to copy or get it on. My "bubble" is the entire tech industry where it concerns the average user.

Android 2.3 (and I think 2.2) support wi/fi tethering in the OS, no app needed. If you have an android phone with 2.2 or 2.3 (I do because ATT service sucked where I live), just select SETTINGS then WIRELESS & Networks, then "Tethering & portable hotspot" to set the phone up as a wi/fi hub with data access.
I haven't used the iphone in a while (since moving to T-MO), so I don't know if IOS supports something similar.
(using a Nexus One)
Some carriers disable it, but there at an app (not "Wireless Tether") available via Market that restores the function on many phones. It works great on my (non rooted) 2.2 phone...

The conservative side does not seem believe in the "teach a man to fish" crap. They talk about it, but rarely practice it. For them it's more like this, "Go learn to fish, and if you can't afford the education, too bad."

IMO the spy plane is way better then the RC car. The RC car really only benefits you and you might only get one or two kills with it. Where as the spy plan helps your whole team and I find it so much easier to get kills with spy planes up. Rarely do people bother to shoot down spy planes as well.

This was one of those 'always asked for but always denied for good reasons' features that everyone's been asking for. I guess now we get to find out if those fears come to light.

If I'm honest I don't really like it, it's an interesting idea certainly but as long as downvoted posts aren't hidden or collapsed eventually once they reach a certain amount of downvotes I think it will be okay, because it won't change the way threads are displayed or how/if people speak their mind.

I noticed some of the same issues you did with the Wiki article, but didn't find a better general one. You? Cody Brocious had a blog post on the iTunes 6 process a while back but it doesn't seem to be available anymore...
Both the private assymetric key, used to communicate with the server (to obtain the symmetric keys) and all of the symmetric keys, used to decrypt the actual media files, are hidden inside iTunes. Try looking for them on your harddrive, I promise you that you won't find them (unless you are an expert pirate with a few months of your time where you have nothing better to do....)
My point was exactly that. All the keys for decryption have to be on your PC/Mac/iPod.
It's the keys used to encrypt the actual media files, which are more closely guarded at Apple. It's much easier to pick the locks on the local system you have under your control than a remote server somewhere... The decryption keys are definitely stored locally since you can play protected files while offline. The one chink in the armor that I see that Jon may be using is that the personalization of the files is done locally, so this step may be exploitable.
Finding where the keys are on your HDD is the easy part, accessing and using them is the task that takes months... [Simple way to find the location of the keys. Image your HDD. Just FYI, I'm running Aperture with 17k+ images on an iMac 24" 2.1ghz G5 - sometimes slow, but heck i'm doing it and drooling over the 1.5 update

Could someone please tell me what is thanksgiving, I have seen it being celebrated on many american television programs and I know it's got something to do with turkeys but they never seem to mention its origins. Also is it a national public holiday ?

I would love to know what the worldwide figure is for Apple market percentage. I know it says here that its not in the top 5, hence no available data, but it would be interesting to see, particularly here in the UK, as the amount of people I know who have switched in the last year has been huge!!
Not just for interest though - if Apple do not take a firm presence in the rapidly developing (India, China) countries now, they may well face the same uphill battle against Windows they have been fighting for the past whatever years in the US.

Anyone who says that is taking the mickey. As a mac user of over a decade I can say I'm quite happy that I can run Windows 7 on my mac.
People on both sides of the OS war (or the console war, or Pepsi/Coke war, or the Marvel/DC war, etc.) are either trolls or severely lacking in the "life" department.
+1 I'd say.
Use winXP everyday; more than my mac.
Use win7 for beta-testing apps in the office.
Great OS's; I just wish MS do something in the usability department. Or may be I'm using it wrong.
