Just Great! More rumors. rofl..tut, tut, and I don't know anyone using AIM.

I use AIM and Gmail with iChat. It works fine. I never chat with my .mac account.


What if the rumored mapping or phone stuff that might be part of Leopard is only for .Mac users?

.Mac users can call people from their computers or get .Mac Earth or something similar.

Also, iCal needs to go online (add, edit, etc. from the Internet), storage needs to go way up, etc.

Give me something AOL and Google don't.

AOL just announced something that allows you to back up 5GB of data. .Mac gives you 1 GB. AOL is free, .Mac costs $99. I understand there are other features, but AOL has most of them too. It's not worth the $$ until some major improvements happen.

I have an ipad 3g with 4.2.1 with 7.10.00 baseband.
I know the 4.2.1 can be jailbroken....but can the 7.10 be unlock?

I look at iclarified website for the unlock tutorial for 7.10....nothing show up

Well, the company where I have work has 30,000 email users and it runs perfectly on a 8 Core AIX Power5 machine

Same here, except we have 2x that many users on Notes. I find it funny all the emails sent out that we get as Domain Notes Admins complaining about mail files nearing the 2GB limit (file size limitation in the version of AIX being used).

Photography Bay has also posted a brief video (http://www.photographybay.com/2011/03/30/photoshop-for-ipad-live-demo/) of the demo showing how layers can be used on the iPad.

Definitely won't be doing GPU folding on this guy. The forcegpu ati_r800 flag does let it work and it goes fast, about 1:40 per 1% on p5733 but the fan throttles up past 50% on the card and it is pretty noticeable (sounds like a little vacuum). And it steals about 12% of the available cpu power. Plus it burns a lot of electricity. I'll do my oneunit and get back to cpu only. I'll let you know how that goes later.

That'll be in 2021, when Apple, the media division of Packard-Dell, rebrands a Sony-Ericsson-Realnetworks Q-380Z 6th-gen personal communicator and sells it as the "iPhone Yahoogolous."

Sorry, that probably needs some explanation. In much the same way as "Turbo" was in the '80s, and "Power" was in the '90s, and "Extreme" is in the 2000's, "Yahoogolous" is the marketing-word of 2021. Nothing to do with the .com that took over Microsoft in 2015 though.

My application produces a timer value when I shake the iphone. I need to perform 8 shakes and after each shake, i need to save that particular result into a file and later retrieve these values from the file to convert them into binary format. Can someone tell me if this can be done? If so, how?

No need. Apple would just license the map data from either Navteq or Tele Atlas. The map data that Google uses at present is TeleAtlas (Especially for Europe).
